Mr. Boyd grew up in diverse countries as the child of a United States foreign service officer. Following high school in Springfield, Missouri, Don attended the University of Washington and law school at the University of Puget Sound.
Mr. Boyd began his legal career with the Yakima law firm Halverson Applegate, P.S. in 1987. In 2003, Don became a founding member of the law firm of Carlson Boyd PLLC where he practiced until he and Zachary Hummer left that firm to form Hummer Boyd PLLC.
From early on, Mr. Boyd's practice has concentrated on business and real estate law, debtor/creditor and bankruptcy law, probate, and estate planning. His clients have included numerous businesses, agricultural operations, and individuals throughout the Yakima Valley.
Don enjoys duck hunting, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
